What I don't understand is this desperation to hide the fact that a campaign group, ran by passionate, well organised Hull City volunteers was successful in getting a no vote from the FA. It is not past members and officers of CTWD that should be ashamed and withdrawing but the silly old fool who tells the lies, still proceeds to push his name-change and divides all around him. It is perfectly normal when nominating an appointment to give mention to the appointees credentials.
I attended the meeting, it lasted a little over 2 1/2 hours and was quite interesting, it addressed things that I had no knowledge of previously and I think it was very worthwhile attending. I've promised James Mooney that I won't give out any details until after the minutes have been supplied to the other FWG members in a week or so and I obviously plan to honour that, I'll give more of my thoughts once those details have been made public.
As you ask so eloquently and politlely. Seems someone announced the result before some had even received their ballot paper and before FWG members were aware. HTH.
I believe James is emailing all FWG members shortly with clarification of the vote result, hopefully that will clear up any issues.
The vote on what? On OLM going as a rep of the FWG? Kinell you lot. So, I get you can't go into details yet, and from the brief statement above it looks like you found it worthwhile OLM, but what we need to know is, did you get arsey and were you taken seriously and not treated like an unwanted extra?
Cady Heron, Janis and Damien vs Regina George, Gretchen and Karen. Better than fight club. Damn, I wasn’t supposed to mention fight club. Damn, I did it again.
It was worthwhile, in that it gave me a better understanding of what was involved in coming to decisions and made me aware of things I didn't even know were issues. I did raise some issues, but not in a particularly arsey way, it's quite a formal meeting, but they listened to everything I said and answered all the questions I asked.
Excellent, I look forward to seeing whatever notes you can knock up and share. It's easy to knock groups and decision makers like these, but people do that without knowing exactly what they do, or what they know, and they can't share a lot of info with the public, for (as I assume you know now) very good reasons. Glad you found it worthwhile, and sounds like we were right to bully you into going.
An acronym standing for "hope this helps", used sarcastically after answering a dumb question or pointing out an obvious oversight to a person of inferior mental No need for that and yes I had to look it up. Can we fill in some gaps for those of us not so well connected to the club. The FWG is a collection of interested ( in Hull City ) parties, some individuals some representing a larger group of supporters, representatives of the club and the police. Is this group now fixed as earlier different meetings had different people attending. It would only be the club who would have the contact details of all those on the FWG and therefore the club would organise the ballot to decide who of those would go to the SAG meeting. Sorry if these points seem dumb or obvious to you, but not everyone on the forum is as well connected to the club as you appear to be. And furthermore some of your post seem to be hard to understand.
I didn't know any of that, I just thought it was a polite way to sign off having answered your query. I can't help what baggage you choose to hang on it.
The FWG is just a collection of fans, it's now pretty much a fixed group of people and it meets monthly(or is supposed to) with various members of the club staff, SMC catering staff etc, the chairman of the Safety Advisory Group has attended once to my knowledge, it doesn't involve the police. The club has got the contact details for all FWG members and did arrange the ballot to decide who should attend the SAG meeting.
