If you're a Hull City fan and you go on holiday and see another person at your hotel wearing a City shirt by the pool, there's a 99% chance they're also from Hull or East Yorkshire. Makes you more likely to approach them cause it's a conversation starter. If you're a Man Utd fan and you see someone else wearing a Man Utd shirt, they could be from anywhere.
