We have 3 games left, Norwich have 2. The GD is 23. Essentially a couple of 6-0 wins from them and two 6-0 defeats for us is what it would take for them to leapfrog us. The probability of that happening is miniscule, but not impossible.
So we need two points to be mathematically safe. If we get one point against Villa and Norwich don't win we will be safe. If we lose against Villa then if Norwich and Fulham don't win we will be safe.
I don't know if it's just me but the use of the caveat "In general" twice during the article seems to suggest that there are some areas they are still not happy with and that they particularly want to get that across?
Accepted but it's normal when praising an employee to highlight their achievements without reference to the financial support of the employer. We're all grateful for their backing but, boy, do they like to remind us of it at every opportunity....
