Dunno, Lambo, but it was 4-5 years ago. The main point (I missed it out) is that Sam Smith's beer, in a Sam Smith's pub, is way cheaper than Sam Smith's sold into another brewery or free house.
I thought as much because Sam Smiths stopped brewing Museum Ale in the early 1990s and just concentrated on the one real ale, OBB. Shame, because Museum was decent beer at that time before the subsequent increase in independent breweries and beer choice.
Wonder if there will be posts on forums and in the HDM about them being geriatrics and only pensioners wanting to see them, it won't sell out etc.. with lists of acts they think would be more "relevant"? Like there was when the Rod Stewart concert was announced? How did that one go?
They do a nice mild in Ye olde Blue Bell £ 1.26p a pint. Bingo mate. They also do a Organic pure brew lager that's nice in fact it's the only lager I drink now
It's Blue Bell, it's Sam Smiths again. They're exceptionally cheap boozers. And good ones, the two in Hull anyway.
It is abundantly clear from social media and the HDM comments in particular, that whatever happens in this city, there will be no shortage of people whinging about it within seconds of it being announced. It's getting on my tits to be honest and we're still in 2016. By the middle of next year I'll be sitting in a corner, rocking.
I wasn't thinking of the general comments in particular, but the particular ones surrounding the Rod Stewart one and how it would be a flop and if only they had booked whatever band they favoured...
I honestly don't recall seeing that type of thing although I probably didn't look as I wasn't interested in the gig (not a Rod fan). Although I heard the latter part of the gig from the comfort of my own bed as I live within gobbing distance of the stadium. I can imagine the comments though.
