    Hmm
    What's on the beer pumps?
Hope it's not a poor standard Guinness, Strongbow, Coors combo ?

Disagree, although I have paid more for a guest beer in Fruit and I only bought one and haven't rushed back. At a £5 a pint it gives the impression that everything at the Food Fest is overpriced which will deter people from attending. For example I bumped into an old mate in town when walking to the Fest and he said he was going elsewhere to eat because '£10 for a burger, **** that'. It's not £10 for a burger but he assumed it would be because someone said the food was expensive ( it's not, it's virtually for nowt)
We needs these festivals to be well attended and for that to happen the public don't need to be ripped off simply because it is a festival.
Anyhow at a fiver a pint across the board the beer tent wasn't as well attended as it was at the first food fest which speaks for itself.
Atom is a lovely pint by the way but £3.50 tops and more people might be tempted to enjoy it.

£5 a pint should be the minimum, keeps the riff raff out.

I didn't give it much thought to be honest
I bought mine at the gin bar
£5 is a bit expensive admittedly...but it saves ****ing about carrying change so it's not all bad ;)

Look at the drunks you see when it's £2 a pint.
    There's drunken yobs all over

Who said it had to be £2 a pint ? I've you just spent a very enjoyable afternoon in The Whalebone, with a huge choice of hand pulled real ales served in a glass in a proper pub, not a tent and in a plastic container, and none of the ales were more than £3.80 a pint. Not a drunk in sight either.
