Could you point me to where I said that? I go to more away games than home ones actually ****lugs. 4 of us do a lot of travelling down and across this fair isle to support the team. I don't do the aways north of Hull very often, they're too far. I didn't do Man C because a)I don't get special treatment in the VIP area like you do and b) other reasons **** all to do with you. I don't do many mid weeks unless they're really close/convenient either. Sorry for having a job and that. I really do not need to justify which, what or when I attend games, least of all to you. Our away support is almost always noisier than the home support, that's true of just about every club in the league, describing any of our support as vociferous is ****ing deluded. I'm the same regardless of home or away, I don't sing, I watch the game, I don't mind sitting or standing, and I shout a fair bit, although I will control my swearing if it upsets anyone near me. Any fans that go to any games gets my undying respect and admiration, home or away. I don't think I'll ever be able to be as snotty and condescending about them as you are. Especially the ones who make the effort to go to difficult to get to (for them) FA cup games we realistically had little chance of winning. Oh, you didn't go to that one did you?
You said something about not usually doing aways, maybe you were being sarcastic, I'm afraid I can't post a link, your posting history doesn't go back that far. I don't go in a VIP area for any aways, other than Man United away in our first Premier League season and Lokeren away this season, both because I couldn't get an ordinary ticket. It's also true that I didn't do Arsenal away in the cup, though it is the only cup game I've missed this season and I was suffering from acute pancreatitis at the time, I did manage to drag myself to Slovakia, Belgium and West Bromwich, so I've not done too badly. I mention that just in case you think I'm not allowed to attend games in January, I know some people aren't allowed out at certain times of the year, I'm not one of them.
Is it really? Is it the rule that is being challenged or the fact that the decision is made at the absolute discretion of the committee, or could procedural unfairness be an element of the arbitration? So as the arbitration details are not in the public domain, how do you know what is and what isn't being considered?
An appeal would determine if the FA followed its own rules, not the arbitration. If the committee followed the rules, there would be an appeal. If the claim is that the rules are wrong under English Law or that there is procedural unfairness it goes to arbitration. Not really simple is it?
There is no appeal option with the FA, the arbitration to contest the validity of the FA's decision was the only option available to the club(the only appeal option was to CAS).
I don't do many games, if any, in Dec due to having a family that wants me around for certain key celebrations and remembrances. I understand yours being happy for you to be away as much as possible. Thanks for listing the games you made a huge sacrifice to go to, we all know already what a super fan you are. You'd use your favorite term of derision for the fellas I do travel a lot with. One of which is in his 80s and not as nimble, nor as vocal as he once was. He still loves going to as many games as he can though. Can't say I'm sorry he doesn't meet the high standards you think you personally uphold as a supporter though.
Every poll that has been conducted(Other then AA's bent one) Has come back as a majority against the name change. Yet people still claim of the 'silent majority'. Why aren't the 'silent majority' speaking up? Why aren't anyone champion the idea from outside the club?
Likewise, thanks for listing the game that I didn't go to. My post didn't really warrant a response, I was just winding you up, but make sure your mate doesn't sit behind me anywhere.
It says a lot this survey. My early observations. 15 of those responding either strongly agree or agree with the name change proposal yet only 2 of those responding would definitely not attend less matches if the name were to be changed. This means 13 of the 15 who agree or strongly agree with the name change may attend less matches if the name were to be changed. Strange result, that's around 87% of those in agreement with the name change who may attend less matches if the name is changed. Only 2 of those responding would definitely not buy less of the club's merchandise if the name were to be changed. This means 13 of the 15 who agree or strongly agree with the name change may purchase less merchandise if the name were to change. Strange result, that's around 87% of those in agreement with the name change who may purchase less merchandise if the name changes. 4 of the people who strongly agree with the name change are not sure whether they would attend less matches because the name were to be changed. Strange result, that's 66% of all those in strong agreement of the name change are not sure whether they would attend less matches if the name were to be changed. 10 of those responding who either agree or strongly agree with the name change don't think the name change will be very effective in increasing income. Strange result, that's 66% of all those in agreement are not holding out for extra income. 16 of those responding rarely go to games. My initial conclusion based on a limited perusal of the first few results is respondents who are in agreement with the name change are less likely to attend matches or spend money on merchandise.
I should have made clear the questions about attending less matches or buying less merchandise were only displayed for those who indicated a level of disagreement with the name change. Sorry about the confusion there.
Well that was a waste of a trip home from the hozzy, I could have spent that half hour speaking to the Mrs. For that I'll forgive you.
Funny how crowds go up at Christmas time. Maybe it is a case of a famous Stone's track. If all families were like yours crowds would go down at Xmas time instead of up.
If all families were like Happy's we could build that 100.000 capacity stadium and fill it with season pass holders, like Exiled thinks we can anyway
Happy mate, you couldn't be in a smaller minority, if you were born on the planet 'Fuklapap 14', and were a pioneer of a new sport called 'set your own testicles on fire' !
Oh Im not to respond to your ****e now eh? Kinell you're ****ing delusional. Oh my mate would be just fine, I guarantee you wouldn't gob off at his eldest son. Or actually, I'd hope you would, that'd be ****ing funny. Please note, this post does not warrant a response from you.
If they were like you the stadium would be empty. They obviously go up at a time when families are together, in the place the ground is. I don't live in Hull. So, what was your point again?
I don't live in Hull. Neither does my wife expect me not to go to City. Neither do my sons or their partners. Maybe because my sons will be there with their kids.
Respond to anything you like, but ffs lighten up. And tell your mate's son I said he's an ugly clown shoe.
