innocent question here - when Blackpool got promoted to the PL how many fans of other clubs thought that would happen. teams which finished in a top 10 position in the championship and have strengthened their squads stand a good chance of finishing in the play-offs next season, as none of the 3 promoted from Division 1 look as if they will set the league on fire and out of the relegated from the PL only Bolton may stand a chance of bouncing back (Blackburn if they keep Kean will struggle to finish 14th next season)
I certainly didn't have Blackpool down as promotion candidates - I think you're being a bit harsh on Charlton & S Wednesday as they along with pretty much the whole league are capable of finishing anywhere in the league next season - I reckon everyone should be 50/1 for promotion with the possible exception of Bolton who should be evens
If you're offering it then I'll have £100 on every other team. As for Koren, I can't understand why we risked losing him by only offering a two year deal. He's not the kind of player who's game is going to suffer much as he gets older. He's not a pacey player, and he's not a physical player where the constant clattering into people could cause problems if age catches up with them or anything like that. He's about one touch football and putting himself where the ball is going to be, if anything he's like a less aggressive Barmby and he kept going into his late 30s.
