I've been supporting city since 1975 and I am extremely fed up with what I am seeing. We don't score any goals, we are a boring team to watch. It's just awfull. Can't wait for the season to end !
Arent you the one who argued against 4-4-2? We just got beat by a team playing it you little prick. Big fuker who won everything in the air, speedy fuker next to him. 4 across the middle who chased every fukin ball. Clingan dominant in the CM with Mcsheffrey probing away in front of him. Out dated my fukin arse.
Oh my oh my. I pointed out 4-4-2 can still be effective IF they have the players to play like that, if you bother to read all of my posts rather than the bits you want to see then you'd have seen me say that. I also said I wanted to watch attractive football, which the way you described, is not attractive football. Stop being a dick and actually read my posts if you are going to bother commenting on them.
Reading finished 8th in the Premier League once and there record attendance is over half ours(just). That's not to be sniffed at.
And currently have money bags in charge + finishing above us in the league last season and this season.
I have posted on here before about a bloke who sits near me who I nickname "The Manager". He really ought to be ashamed of himself today. After Hobbs went down injured then got up again the ball came to him and he couldn't do much with it because of his injury and this bloke actually stood up and shouted abuse at him at the top of his voice. What an absolute moron he is. I think the players have to take some blame for the noise level in the ground. When they give us something to cheer and have shot on goal or go past someone then the noise level does go up but I just think we all feel completely fed up at the moment, its been so long since we really had an exciting, free scoring and inspirational team performance.
You can't blame the players for the atmosphere. Even when we were winning and flying higher in the table, the atmosphere was still sh1t with mainly disjointed chanting. You may aswell blame the players for the stadium running out of hot dogs or the sun being in the east stand's eyes today.
I enjoy going to the games and singing my heart out, but you feel like a prick when your singing and nobody else is, it's a shame that the KC is like a morgue but it's also understandable that fans are annoyed that a Play-off chasing team have lost 4 on the bounce, two of which were foot of the table.
But we weren't scoring goals or doing anything exciting then either. We've hardly ever scored more than one goal at home in the last 3 years, that's definitely why the atmopshere has gone downhill. In previous seasons we've had massive games that decide promotion or relegation battles, combined with really good football a lot of the time. This last couple of years most games have been meaningless matches and uninspiring football.
What utter ****e you are talking. You're saying we should settle for being a bit **** because that's all we can ever be? Why the **** bother turning up. When I started watching City they were ****, and fans moan because they don't want to see the team get it's arse handed to it be lower league **** again (which Coventry are soon to be). The longer you stay in this league, the harder it is to get out and in January we ****ed up a good and proper chance of getting out.
I go to the football to be entertained, that today was far from entertaining. You say fans are turning at the drop of a hat?!? We've been playing this way bar the odd game for a while now and it's getting tedious. It's not that people don't support the team it's just frustrating to see us wasting what was a golden opportunity for the play-offs.
Maybe you should support Barca or Arsenal if pretty football is your thing? Or maybe Billy Smart's Circus?
Whether we win or lose shouldn't make a difference as to whether you attend our matches at all. We could lose our next ten and i would still attend matches, and no doubt most of you would. I don't get this o well where playing rubbish so we might as well not turn up. You support your team through everything, even if you don't like there style. The problem is without Koren this system doesn't work, i love this system as stated before and maybe i did jump on the 4-2-3-1 bandwagon, but without Koren it doesn't work, so we need to adapt to playing a system to suit the players we have.
Who said anything about pretty football? I just want something that actually entertains, a goal maybe? some tidy football like we have played at times this season? something to cheer about? Not the lackluster performance yesterday were they looked disinterested at times. I do watch Barcelona sometimes because yes they are entertaining, I don't support them but they are great to watch. One day maybe, we could perform at that level (not necessarily in the near future). Hell, who would of thought we'd ever get in the Premier league, onwards and upwards. Maybe you enjoy to watch dreary football.
