Was it this thread where the A63 reduced speed limit was discussed? Anyway 40mph limit because the cental reservation barrier has been removed, no work taking place and still two lanes each way. Meanwhile over on the A1 I was surprised to see they still have junctions and open bits in the central reservation where the traffic can do 70mph
The central barriers are down because they're closing the A63 during the night for a few nights, they say it's the most critical work of the whole project.
It really will be incredible when its finished That roundabout has caused so much traffic backup for years
Wrong section rover, as I'm sure you'll have heard before. The views expressed in my posts are not necessarily mine.
The barriers, and 40 mph restriction, are way past Castle Street on the A63. The views expressed in my posts are not necessarily mine.
I know, the road is closed at night to replace the barriers. During the day the traffic is restricted to 40mph because there are no barriers. Over on the A1 there are junctions to cross 4 lanes of traffic doing 70mph if you can find a gap in the traffic. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/cpwrn5jn4y1o
There was one like that near me, 70mph dual carriageway in both directions with a gap to cross over. It was closed off in the 80's after Theresa May's dad was killed trying to do the turn.
4/5 Whitefriargate, Hull, Yorkshire HU1 2ET The sixth Woolworths store to open in the UK was in Hull on the 4th November 1910. Hull was chosen because of its docks, freight and fishing industries and factories, all employing lots of people. The premises at number 4 and 5 Whitefriargate, formerly Smith’s Bank, were adapted to make a double-fronted store, the building being in a busy part of the city centre. please log in to view this image
I'd be interested to know when they stopped using phone numbers beginning with a1. I have a Hull City Supporters Club postcard (unused), it has the name, address, and phone number of the secretary, and the phone number begins with 1. The views expressed in my posts are not necessarily mine.
