I was trying to remember Eamonn's name. It's funny how things change, as I know they could each have their moments, but they tended to be characters you didn't really mind bumping in to and sharing a moment or two with. More recently I used to do the same with the guy that dressed up like a soldier in the India campaign that marched around Beverley Rd. He had some interesting, if not always believable stories to tell. But people seemed to care about them, and were happy to let them live the way that they'd apparently chosen to, or at least they'd rejected the alternatives when offered. These days...
