If HoH was in London, Manchester or Leeds (and had a decent offering) it would be packed, the issue isn't with it being in the UK.

Also wonder if there's a difference between places where you can buy food, as in groceries, as well as something to eat, if you see what I mean! People say Trinity Market does well at the moment.

Not enough people in Hull city centre, combined with a fairly poor offering.

I just don't think that's the problem. If they had a decent level of good food, people would go. The problem is, they got the initial launch wrong, they didn't make up for it quick enough and now they've pivoted too much in the wrong direction too many times, people don't really know what it is.

Food seemed decent to me (when the original places were open)
Agree about it pivoting too many times (double pivoting sometimes probably)

I think it did quickly get a good selection of food places open, but only after the first few weeks. A lot of people will (wrongly) have already made their mind up by then, which is a shame. I went in last Spring time on a Saturday night and it was absolutely rammed and I genuinely thought they'd got it sorted.

However, I started hearing bad things in the autumn and when I tried to get some Christmas shopping and have a night out in there in December, it was really empty. It was the exact time that they should have come into their own and they seemed to have abandoned everything they'd built up to turn it into a sports bar for the World Cup.

Some saying they are necking Sam Smith’s conjures up a disturbing image nowadays.

I went in a couple of weeks ago .
Freshly made pizza for £7 .
    Really nice .
Hull is very much a brand recognition City .
It's difficult to get bespoke off the ground .
