Great days to do it when we have a 12.30 kick off against The Blunts. Inspector Pantsdown will be calling for Martial Law and Prohibition for the weekend.
I’d be rushing round, with reporters in tow. Her just being unwell would be a dramatic improvement in her condition!
Assistant Chief Constable Pantsdown nowadays, some would claim the Peter Principle, I couldn't possibly comment.
Hull's western waterfront could see a radical transformation if facelift plans take off Masterplan study for St. Andrew's Dock is underway please log in to view this image https://www.hulldailymail.co.uk/new...ujl1fdPEaxQZ0kRUM_jssU8Tmifodnf94jePD8_4dykNU
Having not long ago been to Bristol, Portsmouth and Southampton I would say about time and get a bloody move on.
This could be epic & define Hulls image for the next 25 years - I just hope they don’t compromise on the design budget to deliver something bland & boring. Need to go full on, create something iconic. I would love to work on this one
Does this not undermine the Lagoon project? I'd like to think project leaders are talking to each other.
I thought someone on here who sounded like they had some knowledge of the work involved said it was a bit of joke scheme which was likely to cost substantially more than the numbers being thrown about. Is it possible it isn't being progressed?
the lagoon thing was a concept, great idea but there’s billions of cost in the ground engineering alone. Unless we find a sugar daddy who wants to throw billions at it, it will never get beyond the pre con assessment (if it even gets that far!) Sad but true, I would love to see it happen though
I know it was always going to be highly unlikely. I believe the Lagoon Project have raised a lot of money to look at the feasibility, etc which hasn't been completed. Hull CC are supposed to be supportive of the scheme.
good luck to them…£5mill for a very early feasibility. £50m for a full. Then you are into billions for the pre con. If you know the guys involved, I’m happy to offer my time for free or throw some of my graduates onto it
I know the guys involved, but too early to be throwing your time at it yet in my opinion. EDIT - I’m not close to the project though. Mind you it does seem a tad pricey…
Absolutely Although if you win the £15 Billion contract (or whatever it is) I shall expect a small 0.1% consultancy fee…
The lagoon is a brilliant idea and would massively benefit the city, but I suspect the chances of it actually happening, are just shy of zero. Sadly, I don't think the chances of the development above happening are much better.
