A 30 minute walk from Kings X is Belgo Centraale in SoHo. Moules, frites, Belgian beers aplenty. Recommended.
30 minutes there and 30 minutes back is tricky when you’re just killing time for a train from KX though! (sounds good though)
Actually you’re right I was Chairing the meeting so if I can’t finish in time to squeeze in a meal and a few pints in SoHo then that’s just bad time management I’ll try harder next time
I tell you what that does look worth a wander to Did you really go for moules though...or were you munching away on a ‘dirty chick’ ?! http://www.belgo.com/restaurant/soho/eat/ Delirium on draft too! £8.75 a pint but it will blow your head clean off! (I last had it in 80 days on Prinny Ave)
No. Al Rawdah put it in his original post. Just made me think as my cousin lives in Manhattan and reminded me of when he first e-mailed me that he went out in SoHo.
Turned mine off on my tablet. Just typed Soho on my phone and it came out as Soho. Maybe it is broken.
I didn’t type my message using your tablet. Neither did Dennis, I’d wager. I think we’ve found the source of your confusion. Let’s move on.
Back on topic and I’m presently sitting in Itsu having Katsu chicken soup. It’s good. Had a chicken pot pie at Eat yesterday cos they’d run out of Mac n’ cheese.
The delirium is one of my wifes favourite beers. Great to have beer nsmed after the DTs If you want your head really blowing off try the Bush beer particularly the Amber. Good fun having to ask the barmaid if she has a blonde or amber Bush.
Had both Deliriums and Lucifer in there, used to be a regular haunt; bit of a gluepit once you get into the beers and the shot paddles! The Wild Boar was always excellent. Best in a group to get the feel and make the most of it. You could get into some bad habits with the waiters, mind...
