No I just meant the risk of someone being able to get a device so close to the venue without going through the searches on the door. Unless they are going to check every car entering the car park. That artist impression makes it look like the car park is built on to the side of it.
There's a picture of it actually being built a couple of pages back and I'm pretty sure you'll be able to walk straight out of the car park into the venue. They're obviously not going to search every car on the way in, cars aren't searched on the way into any car parks.
It's so ****ing sad and depressing we even have to think like this. I don't know, I wish... Oh I don't give a **** if I do sound like a Miss World contestant. Why can't we live in peace?
It hurts us just to see the news on the telly though. Kids being blown to pieces, innocent people going about their business, enjoying life. It'll probably never happen to one of my own, you're right about that. But they still get all of us that way. They affect all of us that way. I don't want to start something that will no doubt escalate to politics, so I'll shut the **** up now.
The number of people I see annoyed by this decision is baffling. It's ****ing stupid to regenerate the city centre and then encourage shoppers to not go there. I can only assume most people annoyed live in north Hull.
Totally agree Here are some views in HDM ...and a picture of one of them looking like he's just come out of a horror film! http://www.hulldailymail.co.uk/whats-on/shopping/reaction-435786.amp
I think it's the correct decision. As someone on HDM said the people that are moaning that it didn't get passed are the ones that will prob order online and pull up 5 feet outside the door of shop and collect. People need to get off their lazy arses and get around the city centre.
Maybe the people of kingswood will just go to Beverley then. Bit mean of the East Riding to keep building on the edge of hull isn't it. Also makes you wonder if the deal the council were so desperate to get the Allams to do wasn't really as easy as the experts on here would have us believe. Kills any development of the kcom this.
The SMC's plans for the KCOM development didn't involve any retail (other than club shops), it wouldn't be affected by this decision.
It involved a hotel, some dining, a complete rearrangement of club offices/shops and offices for a fairly large business that I don't think I'm supposed to talk about.
