I think Jakupovic is alright, isn't he the king when it comes to penalty saves? Maybe, just maybe Eldin
I sincerely hope it doesn`t come to penalties, win or lose, penalties are the worst way to decide such a game of massive importance.
I'm fairly optimistic that we have the quality and experience to beat Wednesday, the key is Bruce's tactics. We should go for it like we did v Arsenal in the FA Cup Final, if we do they won't be coming back at us like Arsenal did, can see us doing the same as Derby away. The players will be rested enough. We have too many players of quality for them if we go for it. No nervous crap this time please Brucey
I'd fancy a lot of ours at penalties if it came to it but like you would rather it didn't happen! And we did beat the Champions of England in a penalty shootout this season too..
His comments the other day also made it clear he intends to stay if possible. I think no promotion will lead to another resignation, but . . .
I know there's the idea of sticking with the team who were great at Derby but this is a very different game, it's not a "soak em up and smash and grab" type. As they have 2 serious goal threats Id be inclined to go 3 centre backs and put Harry in and then the stage is set for him to smash those ****s dreams to smithereens and send one half of Sheffield into raptures. For me, you pick your best XI players and work the system around them - you don't pick a system and then find XI players to fit it. Harry is one of our best XI players. FACT.
When Bruce first arrived, that's precisely what he did. He got the best out of players by giving them the freedom to play in positions they were best at, and building the game plan around that. It's accommodating incoming players that has affected that.
You do leave yourself wide open some times. What else could i have meant? We should play an expensive player we sold or we should get another teams expensive player to play for us on saturday.
