Marco Silva is waiting on the fitness of Michael Dawson ahead of the Tigers’ trip to Manchester United on Wednesday night. Dawson missed the FA Cup defeat at Fulham on Sunday with Silva describing the injury as ‘nothing special’. A decision on his fitness will be made after training on Tuesday afternoon. Curtis Davies will definitely be missing after scans revealed a hamstring problem will keep him out of action for eight weeks, but Silva will be able to call on new loan signing Andrea Ranocchia if international clearance is received in time. Manchester United can add defender Eric Bailly to their squad after he returned from AFCON duty with Ivory Coast.
