Why did they first start supporting a team nowhere near where they lived and were brought up?* Do you often chuckle about the fact that if they’d been born in a different time they would probably have been ‘loyal’ ‘passionate’ Man Utd fans? *I’ll help, the answer is ‘because they are inadequate bellends that have no sense of personal pride or loyalty to their place of birth or their families’
Shock, horror....Hull fans on here find it difficult to understand I have several very good friends who support the Tigers
My pals from Hull are making their own way to the KC as they live there Fortunately I live 23 miles away
No not that I'm aware of. Most of the ex-hull fans are now following their preferred prem clubs this season 24,000 in the prem 17,000 after relegation 10,000 now They have changed their colours again
Why do people born in Hull & the surrounding areas support Man U/Liverpool/Chelsea It happens all over the country Dennis
The Mrs & I made good friends with a couple from Wigan on our holiday in Northumbria recently He is originally from Leeds but supports Wigan. Looking forward to seeing him again when we play Wigan in November
Of course Leeds crowds never dipped after relegation. Always remained sell outs. Those 3 sub 10,000 crowds and the 13,500 when City played there must have been Leeds fiddling the gates. Given the fact Leeds is 3 times the size of Hull the 13,500 at the last home game was equivalent to over 40,000 at Leeds. Of course their ground doesn't hold that many which is surprising as they have always been sooooo massive. You would think they would have a larger stadium than smaller places like Newcastle and Sunderland.
Haha Of course I’m used to it Just don’t describe them as ‘loyal’ ‘passionate’ fans. They’re glory hunting knobheads, like the Man City shirt wearers in Leeds are today
We did until all-seater stadiums came into play I was at ER in 1967 when nearly 58,000 crammed the terraces v Sunderland in a FA Cup replay. We'll need a 50k minimum stadium if we ever reach the premiership when the true glory boys come out of the closet
