I’m sure he also played against Nantes and looked handy. I’ve assumed that we’ve got to play the Chelsea boys under terms of their loan, so we’ll only see Mazuch if Daws is injured.
I don't believe the Chelsea loans have to be played, I think it's a myth, we've already dropped Aina.
Saw him play against Bolton and tbh he looked fairly solid .. but they brought on gary Madine at half time and he bullied all 3 of our centre backs that day .. I seem to think Mazuch got a knock second half which left him limping off at full time.. he also suffered a knock in training which seems to have kept him out for a couple of weeks .. but as has been mentioned he certainly didn't look any worse then the rest
Redknapp reckoned clubs wanted to insert a clause in a loan contract that doubled a players wages if he didn't play http://www.birminghammail.co.uk/spo...ascinating-harry-redknapp-loan-story-13467842 not sure how reliable this was
Hector is the most right sided Cb I've ever seen but we shoehorn him in as left Cb....its never going to work!
Same team as the Millwall game for me. Show some faith and try and get some continuity going. We don't have match winners who aren't getting starts so we have to build confidence and try and get consistent performances out of players. If Slutsky can do that we'll start picking up points because we may not be play-off contenders but we can be better than 20th.
" Stephen Kingsley will need probably one more week until he is ready.” Gives us some good news Sluts why dont you....
If I was Sluts and thought it was a must win, I'd play WHO I wanted tho play, not who I HAD to play and think **** 'em...
Totally agree with everything you've put, just to add, it will also effect the players, frightened of making a mistake that could lead to the managers sacking, they should not have that crap put on them, need to play with confidence. I actually think we'll win tomorrow. I cannot understand why owners do that kind of thing, why they give them X amount of matches etc, they should be encouraged not have piles of pressure put on them... ****ers !!!
I don't really think there is actually an official agreement that they have to play , maybe Slutsky feels a bit of pressure to put them in though it just seems strange to me that Mazuch hasn't had much of a chance when our defence has been pretty porous
Didn't Wenger complain last time round about somebody (Hayden maybe) not getting playing time? There could be pressure to give them more games, though if they aren't worth it I'd ship them back in January.
Bristol look a much better side than us at the moment so not expecting much today. Its a long time since I have felt this despondent about going to watch City which is criminal because apart from the Allam's,everything is still in place here to put the passion back into our football club again...right?
I think there will always be pressure from parent clubs to play loanees but I can't see it getting put into a contract
Except the fans, you have more on this board than you have go to games. Well under 15,000 for a team that was in the PL last season and playing a top 5 side is rubbish.
Take a bit of time to learn about the Allams if you are really interested in why our attendances are so low now
