We wont be expected to make the top 2 now so it should be about getting some form back with the run in for the play offs. Pressure should be lifted
We don't want the playoffs we definatley won't handle that, Bruce will be polishing up his excuses already
I reckon we need to win 7 and draw 1 of our last 9 to break into the top two. Don't see anyone to be scared of in the play offs if we have to go down that route to be honest
A couple of months ago I'd have said 3-0 and a huge gulf in class.. now I'm hoping we can sneak a win and keep open an OUTSIDE chance of automatics..
For ex-pats only - I mentioned before that those of us who have Bein Sports can watch this game live at 1.00am tomorrow (Sunday). I received a message from Bein Sports this morning: QUOTE: We’re pleased to announce that beIN SPORTS is launching 3 new channels which will be included in the Foxtel sports pack from the 15th of May 2016. The channels will be available in HD for customers with the HD channel pack. What does this mean for you? What this means to you is that your subscription with us will end on 15th May 2016 and you’ll be issued a refund for any subscription payments made by you for periods after this date. You will still be able to watch your favourite sports on beIN SPORTS via the Foxtel sports pack. How to watch beIN SPORTS on Foxtel from 15th May 2016? You're a Foxtel sports pack subscriber If you have the Foxtel sports pack, the 3 new beIN SPORTS channels will become available to you from 15th May 2016 as part of your pack. You don't have the Foxtel sports pack Your beIN SPORTS on Foxtel subscription will end on 15th May 2016. You can upgrade to the Foxtel sports pack for an extra $25* per month to gain access to the 3 new beIN SPORTS channels as well as 9 other dedicated sports channels from FOX SPORTS, FOX FOOTY, ESPN and Eurosport. UNQUOTE: I do hope that "part of your pack" means no extra charge. Ahhh! The thick plottens folks. I didn't know that Optus had bought the rights to broadcast the EPL for the next three seasons. To watch the EPL I would have to become an Optus Subscriber to watch it on their broadband but unfortunately the National Broadband Network is not available in my area (and won't be for some time). There will be ONE Free-to-Air broadcast each week on our ethnic SBS Channel whilst the other games will be available in local Pubs - Kick Off at 12 midnight - 2.00am - I don't think so. So, IF we are promoted next season it is looking bleak for us Ex-Pats.
So, IF we are promoted next season it is looking bleak for us Ex-Pats.[/QUOTE] Not bleak in Canada and the U.S. Laurie. Virtually all of the Premiership games are shown every weekend on the Fox/Sportsnet/ and in the US the NBC channels so if we are promoted ex-pats here should no longer have to endure Burns/Swann early Saturday/Sunday mornings. The thought of another season listening to those two's discussion of everything but the game in progress gives me a headache.
A VPN just masks your IP so the Internet thinks you're in a different location to what you really are, it isn't a tv provider. You can watch online broadcasts from any provider from anywhere in the world where your vpn has a server, but for subscription channels such as sky channels etc you'd still need to pay for a subscription to watch them straight from the source. No need for you to do that as I'm sure anything on our sky/bt/netflix etc is available to you but it does give you access to channels such as bbc with all local news, proper british programmes, and perhaps more importantly given your age, antiques roadshow.
Bruce should tell some **** to hobble himin training a few weeks before international breaks to stop him from travelling that distance. Just as he's getting acclimatized to the frigid English weather, he pisses off to the tropics, gets used to warm weather again & comes back knackered. Bad management i.m.o. Oh aye...and give him Scottish elocution lessons too.
Cheeky sod - I prefer "Bill & Ben" and "Muffin the Mule"... Thanks for the input nevertheless. I am however aware of all that Mr Hat...it's what I do all the time. Only stuff I subscribe to here on Canadian cable packages is to watch football, which is a hook into Sky, BT & & Bein feeds, which pretty well covers all that's available. Less than 15 quid a month. Get Spanish, German & Italian football, French sometimes through that as well. Basically 24/7 football. No wonder the missus left me ! Much cheaper than Sky etc costs in England I believe, and we get every game live. Daft twat I am, a few of my mates & I watch 3 games usually at the same time on Saturdays, plus listen to City's games on TigerPlayer at the same time. No wonder the misses left me (part 2) !! All I ever watch otherwise(through VPN provider) is live BBC, ITV, Ch4 & Ch5 etc and all their archived stuff (Iplayers etc).. Costs me 5 quid a month - great deal. Occasionally the Oz Bein championship coverage gets City games we don't. Hence my interest/dialogue with SydTiger when he said something was happining with FoxTel over there. If that was through terrestrial Oz TV I'd be able to get that through my 5 quid per month vpn provider for an extra 3 quid per month - which I can cancel anytime. Based on TigerRoo's subsequent description of what's actually happening it don't look as though it helps me as it's another subscription set up there, not terrestrial. Still love British TV after 45 years over here - Canadian & US stuff is rubbish compared to it. Hope I haven't put you to sleep.
Can someone tell Roo that I've already discussed this at length and it's about time he took me off his ignore list?
