I love Jakupovic, enough reason for me to go- he's entertainment enough on his own. That's a strong looking lineup so would be happy enough to see that, can't remember if Anne Diamond came on v Burnley so will be nice to see him in action for the first time. A worry would be a slow looking midfield with Taylor and Hudds, fingers crossed Hayden has been retrieved for the match from whatever purgatory he is in now.
The club want a fully automated system. Eventually the ticket office as such will close, so the policy is to sufficiently overprice tickets bought over the counter and then let supply/demand take over.
No it didn't go well as we got relegated. Do you think we would have stayed up if we'd played more games by having good cup runs? - that's the big question. Some people might argue that the extra confidence etc. gained by winning would have helped us stay up. I disagree with that argument - in fact it could be argued that our run to the FA cup final a couple of years ago meant that we finished lower down the league than we would otherwise have done as the cup became a more important focus.
I can understand the desire to automate the system and I don't think it's a big deal in principal, but if you're going to try and force people to change the way they do something, it would be a far better idea to do it in the Premier league when demand is at its highest. It's a bit daft to put any sort of barriers in the way while you've got a third of your seats empty every game. In addition, the replacements on offer are simply not fit for purpose, the self service machines don't offer the service that people require, such as buying your own seat for an FA Cup game etc. Also, I believe there's actually an additional fee for using the self-service machines, which is utterly ridiculous if your aim is to encourage people to use them. They're also a **** print quality, which is causing problems at the turnstiles. As normal, we've come up with a fairly reasonable idea, but implemented it terribly.
Actually, I agree with you. Have you sent the above, or the gist of it, to James? You have a way to contact him? It's entirely possible that the people who need to know what's bad about this, simply do not know.
Yes. He never left. SB told Burnsy after the QPR game. But Arsenal have a recall on Hayden if a club comes in that will guarantee to play him.
Lets hope all those who bravely went to Wembley will be able to go to this one at fifteen quid a ticket
I hope that Odubajo and Robertson don't play. No need actually in a 3 - 5 - 2 formation. The only way we shall ever know if they are good enough is to play them. If Alex Bruce is fit then one of Davies or Maguire needs to stand down. Cardiff on Weds is more important.
Oh James Mooney is well aware of the problems. He is causing many of them. Social media has had many fans moaning about the new system in place. Ticket office collections after buying online (or not now) being taken away is beyond words. Beyond crazy. As some have said, not everyone has a printer.
I spoke to him a few days ago and I'm hoping that we'll have a FWG meeting shortly, where the ticket issues can be properly discussed and addressed.
It didn't help that we had a lot of bullshit tactics In a 3-5-2 at least one of them would have to play, who would play as a left wing back? The only way we will know if they're good enough is if they play, but Luer and maybe Watson aside, I think Bruce has already made his mind up about the youth. I'd like to give Greg Olley a go in midfield and had we drawn a non league side it might have happened, but it's not to be, not against a Chanpionship side. I'd be very surprised to see anybody other than Luer in the squad.
Matty Dixon and Max Clark are gopod enough to be given a go if only in the last 10/20 mins from the bench, if the game is over. You never know, round 4 and we may get easier opposition to at least try.
Friend went for four Fulham tickets today. Was told £8 charge for sliding them under window, or go home and buy them online and then come back to collect them with no charges. This is utter madness!
They aren't good enough really in the reality of the Championship. Dixon is knocking on for 21, if he doesn't even get a loan move he'll be another story of Hull City's famed youth academy. Clark I have no idea about, I think the England youth call up hyped him up further to be better than he actually was. He's alright, but he's still got a long way to go and he's nowhere near good enough to be playing against Championship opposition, not yet.
From the bench IF / when the game is done they can be given a go imo. However it will have to be a lower league side in round 4. How about Eastleigh if they knock out Bolton OR the winners of the Carlisle v Yeovil tie ?
We have too many main squad players that aren't getting game time, Bruce wouldn't sacrifice them unless they were already leaving.
I wasn't speaking to everyone, I was speaking to Filey. And I think Filey has access to a printer at home or work I don't know Filey (I don't think) so that is just a guess mind you Also it was for his son (?) They'll definitely have access to a friends/girlfriends/schools printer...won't they?
I don't disagree at all I wasn't suggesting the system is ok, I was just suggesting it as an option for that person for that game Filey obviously has half the facilities though (access t'interweb) and it must be easier to get his lad to sort out someone to print them rather than have to go and use the machines at KC (particularly if he's in Filey?) It is **** mind you, they should be making it easier, not harder, to buy tickets
