    City 0 Boro 5

We’re ****, we’re going to get pasted. In fact we’ll lose all 3 games this week.

I dream of appointing a manager who can galvanise our piss poor defence into at least playing well enough to justify them taking home a wage.

It's a tough call this one, they may have only lost 1 game and conceded 3 goals all season, it doesn't make them unbeatable.

If we could just change everything about the way we play and make our players more skilful we could get something.

Going back many years my father applied for a job in Middleborough and got offered the post. Before accepting he took my mother up to look around and she was not impressed. In the end we didn't go, as my mother hated the place.

A couple of years ago, my sister gave me documents my mother had left when she passed away, and I found out initially he had persuaded her to go as it was a big step up career-wise, and that he had handed his notice in and accepted the job. I then found out my mother had had 2nd thoughts and in the end persuaded my father not to go, but he had resigned from his job so had to start looking for a new one. At the time I can remember there being a tension about the place, now I know why. I often thought where I would be now if we had moved up there.

P.S. You're right we will lose.

Where would you be now? Probably in the away section this afternoon outsinging the home fans and supporting a club whose chairman loves his club and respects the supporters?

We really are lightweight in centre midfield, and Adkin's had made a rod for his own back making Henriksen captain. When Batty is fit I would have him and Irvine as the centre 2 pairing, and make Elphick captain.

For today I would go 352 as putting 5 in midfield might just help combat Boro in that area.

    Burke Elphick De Wijs
    Lichaj Stewart Henriksen Irvine Grosicki
    Bowen Campbell

Pulis teams traditionally strong at set pieces , so as long as we stay switched on and alert at them........ oh **** yeah, we will lose .

Boro have as poor a record playing us away as we have playing them at their place.
Just to piss off all the doubters I hope City do them 3-nowt.

Knocked going to the game today on the head in favour of finishing lesson planning. Just really don't have the enthusiasm to go anymore. You'd hope there wil be a reaction to last week and a bit of fight. Can't see a thrashing as Pulis's sides aren't known for their goal scoring exploits but they should be too organised for us to get anything from them. Can see a dull 0-1/0-2 defeat.

Middlesbrough folk seem to want to have their cake and eat it.

They always seem full of themselves yet curiously so many of them seem to live down here What a come down it must be for them.

9 points at stake this week against 3 of the top 4.

One point might be a good return against three in form teams and some the most ****ish supporters in the country.

Years ago, when City were on a terrible run at Boothferry Park, my brother was standing at the Bunkers Hill end near a bloke with a huge beard. On that occasion City turned in a surprisingly good performance and won 3-0. As the third goal went in the bearded bloke ripped his (false) beard off in celebration. It turns out that he'd vowed never to go back to watch City but just couldn't resist and so had to go in disguise so his mates wouldn't knw that he'd given in.
I'm afraid the beard stays on today but you never know!
