Looks like they're all after Dawson on the left of picture. 'Whaddya mean you're off to Forest, you're the ****ing captain' 'Let me at him, I only came to the club because you said it would be ok' 'Daws, you'd better be ****ing joking'
I think you've misunderstood happy. Obviously it is Hull City AFC in the picture but there is no clue as to WHO they will be playing next, or when, or how to get tickets, etc. So what is the point of the advert?
Is he trying to explain why he couldn't get the Newcastle winger (or others) in on loan? So if you don't want to sell your house because you want to maximise the sale when prices are rising, you let it out.
I suspect this was boshed out last minute, to cover the advert for the Barnsley game on the 17th, which has now been moved.
But mostly, players don't want to work for such incompetent, underhand, spiteful, belligerent cockwombles.
yeah, all those people who've only just arrived in the area and have no familarity at all with english football and have never heard of google are going to be totally stumped by a picture with no text.
Pretty sure the ad went up before the FA cup match with Forest and hence before the Barnsley match would need to be rearranged. By the way do we have a new date for the Barnsley match? Not seen anything on the OWS.
Many fans may well have all the info they need in terms of fixtures, dates, prices, replica kits, etc. and indeed can (generally) find out more details online as they need. That being the case - what is the point of this advert? Surely a successful advert will persuade people to buy their goods or services. With the current state of the club on and off the pitch it is a difficult enough task trying to persuade people to attend a Hull City AFC match - but do you seriously think an ad with zero information / no text will do the trick? Maybe it is all superb marketing and from now on there will be a full stadium every match and a waiting list for our wonderful full price (no concessions) membership scheme. I won't hold my breath.
goodness, you've persuaded me with your stunning logic that it's something we all need to get aeriated about and get our collective knickers in a twist about. i shall write to my mp, to radio 6, katie hopkins, the bee lady, the pope, father christmas, jesus, and maureen lipman. it's a complete outrage.
Thanks OLM - so that's the link to the ad with the original Barnsley date (17th Feb). Just wondered if we have a new date yet?
That's the spirit! Do keep us posted on your progress - but please keep your 'collective' knickers to yourself - ta.
Hull City @HullCity Our @SkyBetChamp home game against @BarnsleyFC will now be played at the KCOM Stadium on Tuesday 27th February (KO 7.45pm)
Marketing manager has left, gone to Everton I’m told, young kids in charge whilst interviews are being held.
Everton fan James Mooney should have bided his time. That said Rowell has an average of fourteen months per club... The views expressed in my posts are not necessarily mine.
I know they have a branch in vermin town, but sad to see Burflex doing pitch side advertising at the bribe-o-drome v Derby today
