Hull City AFC show their marketing expertise

Well, we obviously all know that Hull City AFC just don’t do marketing but is this taking incompetence to a whole new level? This is a billboard sign that hasn’t been cut or photoshopped. There genuinely isn’t any text at all! So any potential new fans will still not know who is playing or when or where, who to contact, where to get tickets. I know that the Allams go out of their way not to use the proper team name – but no text at all seems like a complete waste of an advert. I suppose it does at least remind existing fans what a goal celebration looks like!

 

Is it an advert for Burflex Scaffolding?

They are trying to wind-up supporters and they are succeeding.
Always being the biggest issue for me the removal of our name by stealth.
Reading his most recent interview in the Yorkshire post Ehab is absolutely clueless and takes no responsibility for the mess he's made of this football club.

I go into the gym most days and have to listen to that Viking $hit, which always plays the same garbage records over and over again, but has slots to advertise City games when the commentary plays a City goal. FFS, I don't recall seeing a City goal of ages.

It's been repeated often enough but there's plenty of actual stuff to complain about without being daft over things like this.

 

This one is near the old Boothferry Park site - opposite side of North Road.

 

Funny thing is that's the best billboard City have made in ages.

I agree. I actually like the billboard but it just needs a little information on it.

 

What a complete of waste of time and money. We teach our primary school kids to do persuasive writing and presentation for adverts/leaflets, they could do a better job! Perhaps I should arrange to take the children in to City to help the marketing geniuses, they may learn a thing or two. (City, not the kids!). An opportunity also for Ehab to get out his crayons and join in?!
