Been there three or four times I think - hated every visit.

Hope they remain out of the league purely on these reasons.

I think you mean the Cardiff game.

It was a Friday night I recall and we, inevitably, got beat 1-2.

HDM took the opportunity to produce some tacky placard as well which they handed out for people to hold up as free advertising for them.

Gruesome yes, but not as gruesome as their Tigers on Tynside baseball caps.

It was just pure humiliation from every angle back then.

Though, on a slightly different note, the cup game before the Villa one (Luton away) was quality.

On a personal note, I got married to my first wife that day, and believe me watching the winner go in at the reception was the highlight of the next nine years!

Yeah, my kids were taking the piss because I shed tears at the end on Sunday but I used to dream of City being in the FA cup final with absolutely no expectation of it ever ever ever happening. And now it has. And now it has. And now it has. City in the FA cup final at Wembley. Just need to win it now.

The FA cup will sit just nicely in our cabinet as a prop to make our much esteemed Billy Bly trophy gleam even more.

I walked into work on Tuesday after a day off to a round of applause from scousers and mancs - fair play they understood how big a moment it was for me. My best mate here is an arsenal fan - he is not being cocky either. He genuinely thinks we can beat them - come on City!!!!

If Arsenal stay 4th we'll also be in the Europa League next year regardless of the result in the Final!

Now that's another thing I never dreamed of seeing Hull City with a chance of qualifying for Europe!

I saw you on telly - or maybe you weren't the only City fan crying.
My Dad's 90 next year. Really amazing that he's getting to see his team - Hull City AFC - in the FA Cup Final.
There's going to be one hell of a black 'n' amber party at my place that night!

I watched it in a pub with a not so good picture, sometimes the only way I knew what was going on was by which way the players were running. At half time I didn't panic because losing was absolutely unthinkable and I kept remembering Curtis Davies (think it was him) saying he did not want his first appearance at Wembley to be on a losing side. A girl near me said she has never had a bet on but today had bet on City scoring 5. My hubby then piped up with the fact that he had bet on Fryatt Huddlestone and Myler scoring. Winning these bets didn't seem very likely at this point. I can't say I enjoyed the 2nd half, I was far too nervous but just so relieved and like everyone has said an unbelievable feeling to be in the FA cup final. When I booked the event for our Athletic Club I didn't bother to check if it clashed with the FA cup, it wouldn't have entered my head that we would be here. I will go to the final just happy to be there. I hope I am not nervous because just getting there is an achievement for us. I think we can win, I think it is destined to be this year (hope I haven't jinxed that now) however I won't be suicidal or anything if we lose. I am just really really looking forward to it.

I am away for the final. Never entered our heads that we would make it through. Am genuinely gutted about this.

    Is it April the 1st?

They're announcing the arrangement for the ticket allocations for Hull City AFC's visit to Wembley for the 2014 FA Cup Final.

    Surely there's been a mistake?
