    FT: Crewe Alexandra U23s 1 Hull City U23s 1

Billy Chadwick's second half equaliser earns a share of the spoils for the Tigers after Tyreece Onyeka's opener for the hosts.

A decent fight back, we were 3-0 down at half time.

Hull City are delighted to announce that Elliot Bonds and Ryan Hanson have signed new and extended contracts with the Club, while young goalkeepers David Robson and Harvey Cartwright have also put pen-to-paper on their first professional contracts.

Bonds only joined the U23s ranks in August earlier this year after impressing on trial and has been rewarded for his progress - which saw him named amongst the substitutes for the Tigers' Sky Bet Championship clash with Wigan Athletic in September - with a new deal.

The 19-year-old midfielder has committed his future to the Tigers until the summer of 2021, with a Club option of a further year.

Hanson, meanwhile, was another new face at the Club this summer after penning a first professional contract at the KCOM Stadium following his release by Crystal Palace at the end of his two-year scholarship.

The 18-year-old arrived as a defensive midfielder but has shown his versatility this season by impressing in a central defensive role for Jon Beale and Andy Dawson's Development Squad and has penned a new deal which sees him remain at the KCOM until at least the summer of 2021. Again, the Club holds an option to extend the contract by a further year.

Second-year scholars Cartwright and Robson have both signed two-year deals to commit their futures to Hull City until the summer of 2022, which again sees an option to extend by a further 12 months in the Club's favour.

17-year-old Cartwright - who has been on the Academy's books since the age of 12 - received a first international call-up earlier this season when selected for England U18s last month, making his Three Lions debut as a half-time substitute in a 3-2 win against Austria.

Robson - also 17-years-of-age - first joined the Academy ranks in the U15s age group and has progressed to play both U18s and U23s football in the current and previous campaign, while also enjoying work experience spells with Stockbridge Park Steels, Tadcaster Albion and Gainsborough Trinity.

According to HDM he was subbed at half-time. No idea if that was always the plan or if he had a problem.

A good win, even though it was against the bottom club, I guess some of their better u23's will be in their first team. Good to read that Balogh & McCloughlin had good games whilst they were on, things are starting to look a bit better up front with Magennis close to a return.

I assume one of the 'big players' missing for Derby, is Burke, so it wouldn't be a surprise.

Danny Lupano's second-half equaliser gives the Tigers their first point of this season's #PLCup campaign.

Keane Lewis-Potter and Lewis Ritson were on the scoresheet in the first half, with James Berry grabbing the all-important winner after the break.

    Nice one <ok>
