i think he'd be a great signing for us, if they are messing celtic around with £4m, then lets show celtic we mean business and offer them what they want, £7m, we'd have 3 players then up front who can score goals at PL level.

he's played in the champions league, and given the crazy prices for players nowadays (£5m graham, £6-8m rhodes, £7m rodriguez) , hooper at that price i mentioned would be good business.

Aye, they have indeed BLUEBIRDS, but turning it down doesn't mean he's worth it. He'll be "worth" what someone will pay, but they may have a long wait for what they're asking.

Someone said we were in for Hooper and Ledley from them as a package for an alleged £9 combined - that would be far too strong. Half that would be about right.
 
9 million for Ledley & Hooper is way over the top. I seriously do not think Hooper is good enough for us and Ledley would be worth a punt for about 2 million.
 
nikica jelavic had the same goals ratio, ok he didnt have the best season last year but hooper has scored goals in the champions league, he'd be worth it IMO.
