I have heard that the National League (5th tier and below) are still going to play their games. I guess calling games off at that level would lead to dozens of Clubs going under in just a week or two. So anybody who really needs their live footy fix and doesn't mind mixing with a modest sized crowd, get yourself down to a Conference game Their ticket sales could be boosted big-time. Sold out grounds I should think.
Soccer Saturday should be interesting this weekend (if it is on at all) The big featured games will presumably be Sutton Utd v Hartlepool Barrow v Wrexham Notts County v Eastleigh Yeovil Town v Barnet
Same here mate. I did ring them and they said i could book another journey but thered be an admin fee of £10. They do an insurance. Mate tweeted lner and they said they would do a refund not sure if that happend though
If the rest of the season gets cancelled, the promotions and relegation will go ahead as per the tables as 75% of games have now been played as per the FL rules.
Do the Prem and the EFL also have a watertight rule stating they can call off the season whenever they wish? A few Clubs might want their lawyers to take a look at that. However, if that's the way is, then so be it. At this point, I think it more likely that CAFC will be kicked out of the league like Bury were, and will be playing next season in some regional 10th tier league, rather than being in League One. If not that, then administration and big points deductions are on the cards I expect. So a quick trip down to L2 via L1 much as Bolton have enjoyed this season. And probably a nice ground-share somewhere, courtesy of that nice Mr Duchatelet. Can we doss round at your place for a few seasons TC?
ask Weeds fans about TC and Wuming …. TC used to get @brb to tag along on the Weeds board but then brb was promoted to GOD and he had to sadly give that life up. Deep down TC is '100% loyal Addick' from a family of 100% Loyal Addicks.... but on social media …..
Sorry to hear that a true away stalwart like you has been ripped off. We will miss your match reports on here during the shutdown.
@Beware of the Virus We know that you were a pioneer for social self isolating because of your drunken personality ....but surely you are not risking your health by continuing to travel to watch this non league filth ?
Today I will be with Mrs Elfs, so no. Next Saturday, my other drunken chums are due to attend Chorley v Fylde.
