    Hull City manager Steve Bruce admits the club are interested in signing Jermain Defoe in the January transfer window.
    The FC Toronto star, who has also attracted the attentions of QPR, is believed to be available at the right price.
    And Tigers chief Bruce claims the ex-England striker is on his radar.
    "There's always speculation... you ask any club in the bottom of the division, all of us would say yes," he said of Defoe.
    "Whether we can do it financially is another problem.
    "If he becomes available, which I believe he is, then we'd love to do something. I think it might be too expensive but it's not a bad bit of speculation."

    He did go on to say that his comments would apply to any club in the bottom half of the league.
