Because those things have a max speed of 5mph and weigh about 60kg. Even if you were to hit someone with it, the buggy would sustain more damage than the person <laugh>
Cars weigh a ton and and can go 160mph, a bit more dangerous.

You’d get done for it over here, for sure. It’s a €500 fine for cycling while pissed.

Even bicycles are faster than those buggies.

I wouldn't want that fat **** colliding with me, in a vehicle or otherwise.
Guy probably sweats chicken grease, his blood type is ragu......but English ragu of course.

You could still do some serious damage to an old person if you rammed em full bore with one of those things.

Not sure what the penalty over here is, but I’ll bet there is one.

Just googled it and Drink driving laws apply to mobility scooters as well.
The reason they probably dont get caught is because traffic cops dont police the pavements and foot patrols dont carry breathalisers

I'm not surprised they have penalties for such things in Spain...all you see is little scooters flying around and bikes galore

Basically, if you’re pissed in charge of anything that moves you’ll get done if they catch you.

So if you’re going to run someone over, do it on the pavement.

Andy Powell, then a Welsh rugby player, got done for nicking a golf cart from the hotel the welsh team were staying at. Old bill nicked him ( ever so slightly inebriated) at Junction 23 of the M4

Bore kits on an electric vehicle?
That's completely different, he was in control of a vehicle which isn't allowed on a motorway, much like when Stirling Moss got done for riding a scooter on a motorway.

True. Even though a golf buggy isn’t the safest thing for a motorway.

And there was the small matter of him being pissed out of his tree.
