    On the bright side, with the club on the brink, nice to see those Pompey youngsters stepping up to the plate, putting in a massive effort and proving themselves yet again.

    Maybe we should slot in a few of ours against Norwich.

    Sorry mate. I guess I'm feeling a little bothered that I've written such a worrying article and I'm thinking every comment is directed at me and I'm trying to justify my comments.....mainly to myself!! Sincerely hope all those who are optimistic are proved right....you could well be!!

    Rangercol ..................... you have made some fair comments regarding last years team and the now supposedly 'better' quality team we have. I'm still very positive about our prospects for the season because we now have a good team. All we need now is to gel together, hopefully very fast!

    I put Saturdays lost down to everyone having a shocker ................ ever team has them ................ we just happened to have it on the first day. Maybe it is a QPR thing, i don't know but it is a long, long season and we will come good. It will just depend on how quick we come good and to whether Hughes is still here.

    One thing for sure, with all the cash TF has been splashing, he will expect nothing but results otherwise Hughes will be knocking on Warnocks' door.
    I for one am behind our manager. We need to give him our support until he proves otherwise.
