Hughes sacked after Arsenal?

I disagree. MH has a lot to prove. As a manager this is a big period in his career. If Hughes fails at QPR he would do well to be managing at Premier League level again. He may have to take a step down, which would be a huge step back in his career. For him I think everything rests on turning QPR around. It's not for me as a fan of another club to say what QPR should do but it's clear he's made mistakes but I'm not sure at the moment sacking him is the best solution, but if the club has to do it better to do it sooner rather than later

I agree with this. It has been a big period in Hughes career. But his record in 26 games now I think it is, is that of failure, a points percent that if continued will get us relegated. For me he has to go, and as you say better now than later.

True enough, if he fails with us his career at a high level is over. City, Fulham, QPR, Oblivion...

POSTED ON A DIFFERENT THREAD - but need to put ours and WHU's position in context nothwithstanding I'd prefer to be in their position right now

Waste of a cut and paste then.

Agreed. On MOTD2 he said he thought the current bottom 6 would still be scrapping it out at the end of the season come what may. Would he even consider the position given he reckons it is already doomed to failure (by his standards at least)?

I agree with him!

Why ´rightfully so?´ he has made some shocking team selections, especially against WHU, who are now flying up the table! - 3 points from 24 is relegation fodder and every game that passes we get a ´bit better´ by all accounts?.... So when exactly is the points rush gonna come??

The way I look at all of this is that against Swansea and WHU we should have had six points - this would have given us 9 points and the Hughes Out campaign would still be in the proverbial testicle. But getting drubbed 0-5 by team who had never won at Loftus Road for centuries, who had a new manager who had never managed in the premier league before, a team with new players (like us but not on a jolly in SE Asia) and we get smashed at home (even more embarrassing than the scum result last year). Then every man and his dog saying that WHU have big lumps in the midfield and that they will overpower us physically in the middle of the park, which they did, maybe they need to turn the sound up on Sky TV in the changing room for Sparkless to hear what everyone else knew. So those 6 points for me would have made all the difference. Rant over....I will not comment on this topic again, it is getting stale like Sparkless.

All the sack sack sack rhetoric is way too early. The squad is improving week upon week. Two disappointing results, yes; but I can see light at the end of the tunnel. Looking forward to November; and, I have to say feeling remarkably calm given our league position. I believe it will come good and the mood will change soon.
