Coyle is the favourite from what I hear. Ancelotti and O'Neil others on the shortlist. Moyes might be a pipe-dream though.

Coyle? Bit leftfield. Think he's excellent, but why would he leave Bolton?

Only a year left on the contract at Bolton and Europa league football will be enough for Coyle. Expect conformation by Sunday regarding whether a package can be met with Bolton.

Hahah your club is a joke. Hughes was clearly in talks with villa and then your club came out assuring fans he wasn't. What a farce.

I'm sending Hughes a box of German cucumbers. Here they're called "gurkens".

Rocky said it: Hughes never had a heart for this club so we're probably better off without him in the long run.

Ok, this is my personal opinion. Our next manager... will be... Mark Hughes. That leftfield enough for you? Come June 30th he is still our manager anyway, he isn't going to be Villa manager, he isn't going to be Chelsea manager. Stranger things have happened...

Our club is a joke? U can **** right off back to Hull.
Some good shouts in there- O' Neil maybe abit to high profile, as is Ancelotti. Would love either though.
Chris Hughton? Nice bloke, did well at newcastle- popular, wouldn't follow the band wagon and piss off when we do "remarkably" although equally, well.
What people dont realise is that they feel Hughes did exceptionally well. He didn't. 8th in the League is good, but we didn't have that many points, and easily could have been about 14th. Towards the end of the League we got better, whereas the Sunderlands stokes, e.t.c, kept slipping up. We got into Europe yes, but through the Fair Play League.....
We need a manager that will stay- I personally would love to see Roy back, though could be an epic fail
    Just no Avram, please

Hughes to Chelsea is not a bad shout. Cheap bastard. Why take the job to walk out after an apparently "successful" year.

Well I didn't think this would actually happen. I've read all the press speculation but I really thought Mark Hughes would have the decency to hang around for more than just one year.

I've said it in previous posts - players like Gera and Pantsil who were key players for us season before, suddenly get side lined as part of the Hughes revolution. If you are going to muck around with players careers then you need to stay around for more than one season. I think it is poor form Mr Hughes.

I'm annoyed about it, but let's see if some good comes of it. If we get someone like Martin O'Neill then I will be well pleased - Martin must be ready to get back into football and Fulham is marginally the closest Premier league club to his home.

Sorry rf, the fact that you're parents are Welsh is irrelevant. As I said, substitute "Welsh" for another racial description in your comments and it is clearly racist. You decided to use the term 'Welsh' as a derogatory emphasis. I have no problem with you calling him a 'b' or a 'c' - what's his nationality got to do with it?

Walter is a good Manager but I thought he'd put his feet up. I doubt he'd want to come down here, anyway we need someone that is going to stick around for a while.

Avram and Curbishley give me the shudders - Martin O'Neill for me.
