For me, leaving out Taarabt and Hoilett in favour of Park and SWP will always mean that I have doubts to this man's competences. What's just as bad is seeing how good they can be and they should already have had 8 matches together under their belt.

Question for OP - Do you still think it's so ridiculous to fire Hughes - because if you do, then you countenance having him till at least the end of the Season. I've stated previously that with current management 1st half of Season will likely provide a spread of 14 -18 points, both ends are firing time for me , so why wait?

Because for the amount it would cost to firstly get rid of Hughes and his staff and then hire someone else and a new load of staff and let them bring in players to an already bloated squad, there's really not an outstanding candidate who you can guarantee will get more out of this group than Hughes can over the next 30 games to a great enough extent to justify yet more upheaval.

Agree definitely on a bloated lop sided squad -which Hughes has brought in, and that it will cost a fortune to get rid - TFs own doing. If TF doesn't want the restlesness to spread throughout his investors he'd better act quick. However, I believe there is the makings of a good team but Hughes is not tacticly or motivationaly proficient to get the most out of them.

Remember the spread - 14 -18 points from 1st half of Season, considering we have NEVER won an away game under Hughe's tenure are we still sure no one is out there that can be enticed to do a better job? By the way 4 of our next 6 games are away!!!

What say you with 16 points after 19 games? OK to fire then? Is it still such a ridiculous thought?
