If he stays then surely we’re going down. By my calculations we’ve got 8 points out of last 30 possible and scored 8 goals. He can point to injuries and illness and bad referees but he picks the team, he chooses the tactics and he fails each game to get it right, so he has to accept responsibility. I feel quite sorry for him really as he probably knows he’s only got the job by default ie he was here when they got rid of Morison, is cheap and he’s a nice guy. But he’s no football manager. Would Tan or Dalman pick an inexperienced CEO for their corporate businesses? Would the CEO still be employed if his performances weren’t up to scratch? No. He’d be given his P45. So what’s the difference with this arm of Tan’s business? Today was yet another example of a manager not performing competently. Wigan had shipped goals galore recently yet he picks Davies and Harris up top versus 2 giants. He picks Ralls ahead of man of match Rinomota v Leeds. He picks Simpson, arguably the worst centre back at the club. So for 45 minutes it’s aimless slow dreary fare. We go one up. The message had to go out that we can’t defend deep, and must hold the ball. That went unheeded. Don’t ask me who should replace him. That’s a decision for our football director. Oh we don’t have one so????
Looks like it was on Sky too.... Let's hope we get someone with experience in again now but not "too much" experience if you get my drift....
Morison sacked after defeat to bottom club Huddersfield and Hudson sacked after dismal draw against bottom club Wigan! Hudson with his paraphrasing, could not inspire a parrot on Clingon’s todge! Hope the people at the top get a dismissal notice themselves! No offence! Dean Whitehead out!

Indeed so Dalman and Co don’t go looking up McCarthy, Pulis or Warnock’s telephone number. Who’s out there who’ll want the job? I’d suggest City make an initial appointment- a football director and let him advise who’s suitable. Money should really be no object. The financial loss of dropping into League 1 to the valuation of the club to Tan must be foremost in his mind. Incidentally and without the necessity for hindsight, Hudson’s appointment was always going to be a bad decision.
Lots of choice there. Can't see Lord Lucan or Shergar though. Dean Smith and Chris Wilder at the top. Had successes in the past with footballing styles which have been attractive but recent failures. Would they want a shedful of cash for another rebuild? Can't happen this window. Or do we go for someone more leftfield?
Gareth Ainsworth crops up again. Has already managed at this level and, in the eyes of many, unfairly relegated when offences by another club were not properly punished at the time. Or really left field now his off field issues are sorted, Joey Barton. Done well at the Gas with football where his side scores goals. As usual it will probably someone not even on the list. Is there anyone?
Hassenhuttel (spelling) would be good. Gus Poyet is interesting but has he been out of the game too long? Daniel Farke also a semi-decent shout...
All good shouts in my opinion but would any of them work for our board? I'm also getting to the point that I don't want to see another career in ruins because of us. I've never felt this way before .
That's the issue now isn't it? We now have a reputation for hiring and firing like Watford but we probably pay league 1 wages for managers now.... We can only hope we push the boat out a little this time around.. Though still having the remnants of the embargo hanging over us, limiting what we can do in the window doesn't exactly add to the glamour of the role either does it??? Makes you wonder if we have Laurel and Hardy on the board.... That's another fine mess they've got us into.
Maybe the Hale and Pace characters would be more effective? We are THE MANAGEMENT!!! Might Pep be free soon or Klopp?
If that ref had blown after the designated 4 minutes Hudson would be still in charge. If that said ref then given a penalty (looked a foul to me) then still (assuming it’d been potted) Mr Nice Guy would be in place. Is it a possible blessing in disguise? We can only hope with finger’s crossed that the Chuckle Brothers this time get it right. I’m not holding my breath.
I wasn't there but didn't Allsop get booked for time wasting, and not for the first time? Might that have added to the additional minutes?
