Agreed and Giroud and Barkley weren't expensive either. But how many of those players listed would City be buying?? Lots of noise about Higuain coming over this window. Not sure about that but surely better than our current options? Has anyone else seen how poorly Batsuayi is doing at Valencia?? 1 goal in 15 in the league! Taken off at half time in his last game. He'll be sent back at this rate!
It's true that Barkley, Giroud and Moses were not "expensive" compared to today's obscene prices. however, Giroud and Barkley have proven to be below the required standard and Moses was only good for Conte, ( though maybe should have a run as one of our front 3) Point is, Sarri is simply trying to bring in ex Napoli players to get us playing in his preferred manner. With Jorghino as the focal point, and not able to fire the team, is this the way forward ????? I believe Sarri should be rethinking and looking for players for the future, not the Higuans of his past. He had nothing to do with us buying Pulisic, so obviously is not working with Management to shape the future team. Dumb, loopy thinking as usual, all short term, make it up as we go stuff. We never learn and keep wasting millions on unsuitable players in our quest for continued instant success.
Chelsea have brought in players that aren't going to help them win the league of late. Rudiger, Barkley, Giroud and Moses. They have been poor in the transfer market in the main of late and it's a sucker punch when they look like they will get rid of quality youngsters like Hudson Odoi and Loftus Cheek. I do think Pulisic will be a good signing though it may take him a season or 2 to get used to the premier league.
