Sounds like we pretty much dominated all game and eventually took our chances. Pedro as you might expect - let’s hope he isn’t going anywhere too soon ! Merry Christmas to you all .
I thought it was my laptop playing up with all the spooling, but it seems to have been a common problem.
Jingle bells, jingle bells Jingle all the way Oh what fun it is to see Watford win away Great result. Poor first half much sharper on the second. Pedro was a man possessed. Atmosphere great.. jubilant celebrations We all forgot all about our various bugs etc. Difficult really to be too critical of any player.. With that result.. Come on you horns!
beating a team bottom of the pile should be a given for a club hoping to get promoted surely , seems a relief after two scoreless games ...
Well it certainly wasn't the best of passes. In fact it was one of many like it during the game that stopped the flow of an attack, that and ubderhit passes. I simply don't see why even short passes like that can't go where they're supposed to go, rather than make players slow down, stop or even backpedal.
Was a good finish by Pedro. Least he got found I guess . Had that situation a few times in games and messed up.
A lot of passes go astray... .football is a game of percentages... that is why when you win...as a supporter... you can forgive so much of what hasnt been so good. Sure we expected to win and were expected to... and looking at the highlights apart from their goalie we could have scored a couple more...and Pedro missed a sitter in the first half etc. All in all ...a good day out.
There were almost 1,000 Watford fans who braved the biting cold and overcame the train strike to make the six-hour round trip, and that was not lost on the Watford boss. “It might sound a bit of a cliché but they really help us. “The home crowd was loud and you could feel them lift their players and influence the referee. But then every time we had a chance or we did something good, I heard our fans just as much. “Towards the end of the game, it was only our fans I could hear. It means a lot to us to hear that. “We don’t always stop to think about things like there are no trains for the fans, because you are so concentrated on the game. But for what they did today, I take my hat off to them and say a big thanks.” Not the best facilities for away fans either.......Toilets broken due to burst pipes, portaloos etc
