They will come at us from the off, will be high on confidence, which will suits us down to the ground.
nothing worse that 11 twats behind the ball, well maybe not all the time but definitely in a match.
I can only see a city win, some of the interplay in the first half against wotherum was brilliant can’t see Hudds living with that. Use the dark arts learned from the Sunderland game if this lot try and bully us. I’m going with 2-0 away win…
Up the tiggers!!!!!! The thing about a bully is… they don’t like it up um….
Think some of our clever interplay just needs a bit more zip

I was just right of the goal at that game, a shot went past the post and I stopped it - it was on telly ! Their shed was a bit tasty ! Can’t remember if it had a name , memory’s going
It was the cowshed and at that game City fans were in it.
The next time we went we were put into the huge all terracing, but covered, side stand. The biggest in the FL at the time I remember. The usual motley crew of younger City fans in the middle of it and the silent majority of older fans safely sat in the seats at the opposite side of the ground. Just before kick off a dozen or so 'beer monsters' in donkey jackets supporting Huddersfield charged into the middle of us and all hell let loose.
Football in the 70's. We expected nothing less.
Went to Leads Road several times to watch City and it was always an atmopsheric place and it always seemed to be foggy and raining. Scruffy lot the Town fans in those days, mostly long haired greasers.
I don't like the new ground at all and we don't have much joy there. One game stands out, beside the 1-0 win midweek when George Boyd scored in our promotion year under Bruce. It was one of our rare Sunday morning games at the time under Peter Taylor. He was still managing England Under 21's and for this game he chose to be with the England set up as they had a game coming up. City filled the away end yet the atmosphere was dead pan and we were walloped about 4-0, all over in the first half.
Never forgiven Huddersfield for the cowardly ambush on walton street car park early 2000's and the way City fans were hounded down and jailed for the incident with them getting off scott free. That and the way Sodje put Stuart Elliott out of action for months with a calculated foul/assault on him, which went totally unpunished.
No love lost.
Didn't mind toothless Jimmy McGill though.

Well I for one think he needs to be given a chance Did not mention him earlier since there was no sign of him coming on in the last game. So it appears the management team don’t think he is ready yet?

Ohio showed no sign of coming on against Swansea. Yet did and scored against Rotherham, so I wouldn't be so sure.

I could have almost written all that myself , they were a scruffy bunch , remember when they coujd watch from that massive hill at the back of the stand about 1/2 mile away it looked on tv . I always remenisce about Jimmy MC gill ‘floating ‘ shots over the bar from the edge of the box LOl can’t ever remember him hitting the target but he kept trying , maybe we should have bought Frank Worthington !!

They finished above us that year. I was living in Leeds at the time and wanted to go, but went back home to work at the post office in Hessle for the Christmas hols.
Missed a cracking match it turns out.

Recall it vaguely. I'd have been 11. That was the season Crystal Palace came from nowhere to get promoted...Mid table in Feb, then went on a long unbeaten run that contained about 14 wins on the bounce.
Maybe City could do something similar in 23/24.

Dangerous game, Huddersfield have found some form. I'd take a 1-0 win.
A guy at work who’s a Sunderland fan went to last night’s game and was gutted that they lost. He said it was a poor game and he couldn’t see how Huddersfield had scored so many goals in the last few games.
He did say that they just marked Jack Clark out of the game, so I guess they’ll try to do the same with Jaden.

I remember the incidents in Walton Street Car Park in the 2000’s, as I nearly walked right into and had my elderly Dad with me, so was just concerned with getting him away from it as quickly as possible. There was a lad laid on the ground who looked like he’d had a right going over but couldn’t tell if he was one of ours or theirs.

I don't mind them for their hatred of TWS, and enjoyed a few rants about them on the odd occasion I've met a Huddersfield fan. Still loudmouth West Yorkshire ****s though

Grind out another result whilst we give the front 4 time to click, if they do, we should be firing.

Can't see this being an easy game. One loss in the last 6 games suggests they're putting up a fight and consequently they turned Sunderland over on Weds night.

We need to be prepared to take a bit of pressure, they're fighting to stay in the League,we're looking to get out of it...Could be a real battle.UTT!
