Well, who knows whether that will turn out to be 2 points dropped, 1 point well earned or 1 point gained. Don't see the point in trying to use every result as a barometer of what will happen over the rest of the season really. We don't have the right to win every game, and it will be a fight all the way to the last day of the season. Hopefully we will still be in with a chance of an automatic spot by then, but if not, as I've said all along, the key thing will be the form we are in for the play-offs.
Not sure it the points dropped that are the concern as such, I would say it's more about the gap being created by the top 3 sides (certainly the top 2). At least that is how I look at it. There is still time, and those three sides will drop points somewhere along the line, just have to hope City can take advantage.
One win in the last four games is just not good enough to challenge for the auto places and won't be good enough for the play-offs unless we find some form again. Worried now.
I'll be honest - I switched off CanaryPlayer after the 2nd Huddersfield goal and said a few sweary words. Shame on me! 1 point is better than none but we're just not capitalising on chances.
Couldn't agree more Rick, I fear we may be in this division for a long time now as I can't see us making autos and would you really fancy this team in a play off final at Wembley should we get there ? God I know I'm so negative tonight, perhaps it might have something to do with the fact that my best mate died last week and I'm pretty low Atm
If Alex Neil is how Wes described him in the interview this week Hooper should lose his place in the lineup to be honest. He has not pulled up any trees in the premier league or championship. Huddersfield pulled off a great game plan almost, we were pushing forward and they punished us on the break. I want to see Wes starting next game in place of Hooper.
8 of the top 9 are playing each other this weekend, things could look very different again by teatime on Saturday.
Utterly stunned by the negativity on here after that late late show. Could prove a vital point but important we claim all three points on Saturday.
Possibly the first time I've agreed with something you have said, but, for the record, I couldn't agree more.
I think a lot of people will feel differently when they wake up in the morning and take a good, long look at that league table and the upcoming fixtures
I would fancy us in a playoff final actually because the only time we seem to put in 100% is when there is something that is harder to win. Sorry for your loss KIO. My 6 year old son told me tonight he doesn't want to go football training anymore or play the game. I have witnessed him not enjoying playing the game anymore over the last 3-4 weeks. Gutted. It hurt me as I am a coach for the club. Even did my coaching badges to try and make me a better coach.
Controlled the game should have won - lots more twists and turns - enjoy it you bunch of miserable feckers
Amazing how much less of a cutting edge we have without Grabban. I really think we need to bring in a fast, mobile, hard working striker from somewhere (God knows where) if we are going to stand a chance of promotion. Ironically RVW would come in almighty handy right now! We are right back into that 'problem' of breaking down teams who are set up to frustrate us. It's now cost us 5 points in the last few games alone. Let's see what Alex can do, can we find the player we need or will he shift something around to make us click again?
Loza's pace and directness may come into play. Also if Hooper plays he needs Wes alongside him - they are on the same wavelength
