Sounds like we played for a 0-0 and didn't get it.

Why can we not manage the last few minutes of games? They haven't really threatened. The game had 0-0 written all over it.

The goal was their only attempt on target.

We've just handed Huddersfield Premier League survival there. So generous, aren't we?

It is a good job that other teams are not picking up points or we could be in the mire with them.

Some games I can let go but this one has really p*ssed me off. The throwing away of points is getting silly. Everton away, Palace away, Swansea home, Muff home, Burnley home, Hudd away and I know I’ve missed some. Why are we the worst team in the league for it?

Basic long ball not delt with and again we seemed to have defenders lost in space whilst Ince wanted the ball more

See you’re a Saints’ fan. Sorry, we’re just becoming the League’s specialists at throwing away points. Most games we seem to have a good go at it now.

Only listened to the first half, a bit of the second then had to run a few errands.

All I can say is <doh><doh><doh><doh><doh><doh><confused><confused>:emoticon-0114-dull::emoticon-0114-dull:<steam><steam><steam><steam><steam><steam>

This has the feeling of last season all over again.

In a way I am glad Huddersfield have a life line as it is always sad when a promoted team go back down without having a chance to see if they can make it in the EPL.
We defended well throughout the game except for the goal when Capoue, who should have been marking Ince was just watching from outside the box. We seemed to handle dead ball situations a bit better.
What concerns me more however is the lack of forward penetration, hence the lack of goals. We are not playing to Deeney's strength and getting balls into the box for him. There is not much inspirational forward running into space and when our midfielders can't see anyone they pass the ball backwards which drives me nuts. Hudderfield can then press and often nick the ball.
I think we are safe but if we had got the points as outlined by A1 we would be up there with Burnley.
