I’m worried about losing a few in January, Patterson for me is one of the best outside the premier league with a lot of potential. I really like the kid, possibly better than Pickford in a few years

    Cracking RTB, cheers.

I didnt see the Luton game but it has the look of a critical point. Chance to get Embleton in higher up this week with Clarke out. Embleton has a goal threat and I think he is more effective in the attacking positions.

I dont know how Dan Neil played Saturday but I think a couple of times recently he has tired in the second half. Maybe a breather is no bad thing for him. He has worked much harder this season out of possession and I suspect the miles in the legs are catching up. Mind you a couple of games and he gets his break anyway, so decisions decisions. I wouldnt mind Matete getting a start personally, I still like him. Michut looks a real talent so could he start. I wouldnt say no personally, but I do know managers are often wary about the physicality of young lads. Let the talented youngsters play I say.

I am still really excited by the squad and the season. January is important and we must plug the gaps that have been problematic for us. I am sure we will and I suspect Mowbray is trusted when he says what we need.

Can’t see any of the lads who played yesterday starting. Think the team will be:

    Patterson

    ONien
    Wright
    Batth
    Cirkin

    Neil
    Evans

    Roberts
    Pritchard
    Embleton

    Diallo

    subs - Diego Bassadonna ; Hume ; Matete ; Ba ; Michut ; Bennette ; Simms

There once was a farmer from Huddersfield.
Who owned a cow that wouldn’t yield.
The reason that the cow wouldn’t yield
Was she didn’t like getting her ***********

Complete sell out for us ...

... just been trying to help a lad and could only scrape two for the home sections.

    What a support we have.

It's possible that he may become better but at the moment his distribution could be better, that's not to say it won't improve. He hasn't quite got the command of his box and that air of authority that most great keepers have but again he is young and improving all the time. As for Pickford I stoll rate very highly there are probably only 2 or 3 keepers in the prem better than him all round and maybe only Ederson better with the ball at his feet but Pickfords distribution is about the best in the Prem and maybe the best in Europe.

Be a harder game than first thought, apparently they've won 3 out their last 4 at home.

Yeah - I prepared that before the news conference, he also seems keen on Jewi starting.
Maybe start with Jewison Bennette, Patrick Roberts & Amad Diallo up top and bring Simms on for the last 30 minutes.

I think he could be as good as Jordan. He needs another 18 months

I really rate the lad and think he’s improved a lot in such a short space of time but I’d like him to command his box a little more. I’m sure it’ll come.

Yeah. I have been critical of him in the past but it was nice to see a big improvement in confidence over the weekend.

    Fair play.
