Beale gone for some funky formation that isn't working. Innovation for the sake of innovation

They’re just as bad mind and the lack of urgency is on the players. I wouldn’t have changed Saturdays starting line up though

Often people do go over the top. This isn’t one of those times. Neither was Rotherham

I say outplayed by the team as the one who performed better. I think they have been the better team by a bit.

When is Ekwah going to realise how big and powerful he is!
Should just be constantly showing him videos of Vieira or Yaya!
    Hes so tentative its frustrating!!

Hopefully get sorted in the 2nd half. But some of the performances in the first half have me thinking that some of our potential stars haven't got Huddersfield away on a Wednesday day night in February penciled in as a sexy fixture for some reason.

They are bottom 5 for a reason. Poor team but they seem to have a much better set up and energy tonight.

Clarke hasn't had a decent run, Ekwah's first touch has been terrible and we're playing 10 yards too deep ...

... they all need to change and we'll have another second half like Saturday.

    Ha'way!

seems to me the first half plan was more 'stop them getting chances' rather than any attacking threat, unfortunately fecked up with that misunderstanding, ekwah and jude not really moving forward with any real effort, protecting any breaks i guess...as i said, these will tire soon and then we can play football again, just don't need to let another goal in.

Pretty ****e that. Midfield wandering around like they're on a nature walk in the local forest. Ekwah in particular needs to get himself moving.

I don't imagine Beale enjoyed that so let's hope for another half time improvement.

Mate, you surely know if I say we’ve been awful, it must be one of the worst!

I guess at least he tried something. It didn’t work and he changed it.

Id rather that than a manager who had no plan B. Which let’s face it, he’d be getting criticised for if he changed nothing.

Not defending Beale entirely but I can’t say the players are defenceless here. They’re asleep. Need to at least show some pride.

Aye. It's what he does away from home. Our record away is terrible.

0.12 xG tonight against Huddlesfield so far.

Think a draw is the fair result at the minute, both teams have been shocking.

We are playing into their hands tho, we have no pace when we have the ball n as you said the gaps between our units are MASSIVE

Chill lads, before we go overboard.

It was a poor first half. Second to come. Beale has shown he can change a performance around. Dont go all doom and ****e at half time.

We need a couple of fresh bodies in my opinion. Get Rusyn as the 9 and Roberts wide. Rigg in for Jobe but play a double pivot instead of a flat 3. Neil alongside Rigg and let Ekwah push on.

Ballard has worried me, unexpectedly. Looks leggy. If after 20 mins we are still shy I would be tempted to bring another attacker on and play a narrow 3.

Conundrums for Beale but time for fixes.

Poor 1st half and a concerning lack of desire and urgency.
    45 to sort it out..
