If we didn’t shift Scott out, his value would have been compensation only come the end of the season.
As it is now, we have two or three transfer windows to buy players within reason without slipping close to where we were in fear of FFP points deduction.

Exactly, once we have filed our latest financial records which will show the sales of AS x 2, will reset us with FPP and we can go again.

I think that’s the point, if we blew the wad in year one, it will show a deficit on rolling three year. A positive in year one (ie nest egg) = reset.

We seem far better organised and I give the new coaching set up much credit.
LM's still getting used to our players but I can't see, if he's going to play with a 3 defensively, why it wasn't Vyner, Dickie and Pring.....and Sykes could have played further up on the right.

    Far better balance.

Think it will be Atkinson, Dickie and Vyner when Atkinson is fit with Pring (when he gets back to what we know he can play like) playing and hopefully Tanner becomes a sub.

Maybe McCorie when fit in place of Vyner. But I would not be surprised if McCorie plays in front of the back free shielding them.

ITV coverage is over a shorter time frame and they just squeeze stuff in so quickly.. I think we got less than a minute for our game Norwich even less!

The team look fitter and sharper to me, and definitely better organised. I have said many times, that the issue was Fleming far more than it was Nige for me, he simply wasn't good enough as a coach for me, but Nige trusted him.

Not to mention he's been injured pretty much all season. Selling him when we did was one of the best things we have done financially since selling Adam Webster!!

I don’t think anyone, including Nige was suggesting blowing the wad, as you put it, he was suggesting though some investment, maybe a couple of players. He was right, and still is. We need at least two, possibly 3 extra players to bolster the squad. We simply don’t have a big enough squad at present. I would be amazed if we don’t add numbers, either Jan or summer at the latest. I genuinely believe had we done it in the summer we could, and I would argue should be aiming too 6. That’s why I’m so annoyed as I see it as an opportunity missed. They allowed their poor relationship with Nige get in the way of OUR success.

We’re great at missing opportunities and not building on the fan base and potential of the club
We’ve made it an art form

People can offer critique about Fleming but I think he was a great bloke, a real gent, very infectious personality and was the binding between manager and players, in other words he did his job, he also held everything together after the debacle of Lansdown Jnr sacking of Nige,

I wasn’t questioning him as a person, just his ability as a coach, which for me wasn’t good enough to match our ambitions as fans, or the owners. I know you won’t have a bad word said against the Pearson regime for some reason, but I think a lot of people have the same view of Fleming’s ability as a coach.

I have criticisms of Nige mate, I think he was stubborn, a bit self centred, and showed a tendency to be arrogant, he was also a bloody good football manager who saw us through a period of problems on and off field, he is also history, done and dusted, a past regime, as I pointed out my support is now 100% behind LM and I continue to say to you keep expressing your points of view, no problem.

You sum up NP’s character pretty well, but he’s a damn good man manager, and we knew what he was like before we appointed him, so I don’t see it as an issue personally, there were no surprises. I agree he’s gone so we move on, but once again, due to the ineptitude of our owners we have to reset once more. No wonder they spend so much money !!
