I wonder if we have the worst FA Cup record (relative to whatever division we might be at the time) out of all four divisions? Cannot be many worse than us.

A bit mean not allowing season-ticket holders to use their pass (at least up to the quarter-finals). Hardly likely to be a sell-out.

FT 0-1

Best of luck to Huddersfield in their 4th round match at Old Trafford
If they get drawn to play there they will have already had all the luck they want. Nice little earner. We could buy a defensive midfielder with that sort of money.

Cook/Stephens/Pritchard/Kerkar. Hardly what you call intimidating!

Not only was the result poor but the performance was even worse!
Dreadful performance. High lobs into their big back 4 whenever we got near their box. Stephens was the only one who tried to pass on the deck. Really inept display. It was a chance wasted to blood a couple of hungry kids, by the time Azeez came on the game was lost. Instead we had Kerkar and Cook out wide and they have both had their chances and been found wanting. Mind you it didn't help that the atmosphere was like a reserve game. And why did we give Scannell the freedom of The Valley???

Truly shocking display, did we have a shot on goal because I can't remember one.I have wasted £15 watching that crud.If the players can't be bothered to turn up neither will I next time.

Didn't give a toss before the game. Couldn't really give a toss after it. Only slight concern is that we were apparently completely dire with, on paper, quite a strong team. Kerkar, Cook, BWP for the clearout list, Kermit again proving that last year was his time in the sun. Unless of course it was all such a non event that no conclusions should be drawn.

We move on. I won't be troubling the statisticians at a cup tie again. Made my mind up about that after the west Brom game a few years ago. Seems to have slowly deteriorated since.

I am sorry but I do care,I parted with £15 of my hard earned to watch 90 minutes of excruciating cack.I would like to see us have a cup run is that too much to ask for?Crowd was pitiful too.Wont go again, because it seems nobody seems to care.

I think all of our strikers can do a job for us, it's just that troublesome midfield. They don't create nearly enough, and their defending is only marginally better. Happy to hear that Stephens had another good game, but even I have to admit its more than coincidence that it coincides with the transfer window opening :(

SuperC- Azeez came on far too late to make any impression. We were already in the habit of humping high lobs straight to their back 4 every time we got near their box. All their defense had to do was hold their line and wait for the ball to come to them. All very well to say you don't care but to witness such an awful display is the stuff of nightmares. We didn't have a single shot on goal, and we didn't come close to having a chance until the 4th minute of stoppage time. The only positive is that at least it wasn't on telly.
