I used to rate him, especially from his loan spell at Stoke, before he came here. He is better suited to play in the hole behind the front two, but he has never been utilised here in that position. He is a luxury player... but of course will probably come back to haunt us somehow.

    ^This.

Dunno how he made it so far being scared to challenge for the ball - is too much of a luxury player but not good enough to be worth having so won't be distraught with him leaving.

Always liked him as a player, I'm not one of these people who particularly cares if wingers tackle- they should be kept upfield most of the time in my opinion, if we didn't play so defensively it wouldn't be a problem. Agree with an earlier post that if we played 4-3-3 he'd be a decent player in that front 3, and I think he probably had his best games for us (near the end of our first season with Pearson) when playing in that position. He'd probably fit in somewhere like Blackpool, although Huddersfield are also a good bet.
Great penalty taker- we forget this about him, and I remember a few awesome free kicks. His goals against Palace last season will always stick in my memory.
I won't be massively upset if he goes, as I think his best years are probably behind him and I think Marshall is a better and more versatile player. But I'm not going to join in with the stick that's been aimed his way- let's leave that for when the likes of Marlon King and El Hadji Diouf come to town eh?
So good luck if he does leave for Huddersfield!
    * Also one question- why do we never criticise a defender with no finesse and only strength, eg. Big Wes (not being critical of him here btw) for not being able to control a football, yet when we're talking about an attacking player where the reverse is true we have to get on his back?

Also, if he does leave can we please not boo him on his return?

    We do.

Matt Mills was slated because of his distribution. Morgan's isn't too bad. Or certainly not bad enough that it becomes a problem.

We have scored quite a few goals through Morgan's long balls

Dyer at Torquay and Vardy at Blackburn
