Huddersfield will be without suspended defensive pair Mark Hudson and Tommy Smith for their game against Cardiff.

Midfielder Jonathan Hogg returns after serving a one-game ban, but winger Sean Scannell is out with a knee injury.

Cardiff defender Lee Peltier is suspended after a red card against Rotherham meaning Fabio could come in.

Midfielder Lex Immers could make his first start since joining on loan from Feyenoord and striker Idriss Saadi could return from a hamstring injury.

  • Huddersfield are winless in five league games against Cardiff (D2 L3) stretching back to August 2012.
  • The Bluebirds have kept clean sheets in five of their last seven league meetings with Town (W4 D2 L1), including the last two at the John Smith's Stadium.
