No point comparing Nugent and Beckford IMO, completely different kinds of striker. Nugent is more like Becchio than he is like Beckford.
And you don't do this? You're worse than anyone when it comes to being blinkered. I think most Leicester fans have been very honest about Fryatt. When he's in form, he's great. Trouble is about 75% of the time he's out of form or injured. It's not because of arrogance like Beckford, but because he has issues with confidence. He's like the Championship's version of Torres in that respect. I think most people are aware that Nugent is a very good player at this level. He's better than Beckford because he gives his all and never loses his hunger, even when he isn't playing well. Regarding Proud's comments, I don't see much there we wouldn't still agree with. Proud said Beckford needed to sort out his attitude - he never has. Beckford is a better technical striker than Fryatt but, as discussed above, both have issues that have led to us getting rid (or in Beckford's case, wanting to get rid). I also remember very well that you, personally, we're given assurances by Nige that he wouldn't be coming to Leicester. You have also tried to convince everyone that Hull haven't paid £2.6m for Prozzie. So if we've learnt anything from all this, it's that you talk bollocks.
You may not want to compare, but we've had both at our club at the same time under two different managers. Both managers picked Nugent more often.
I don't really give a ****, I pointed out there's not much point comparing two strikers with completely different playing styles.
We are the only team that has seen both Beckford and Nugent play so therefore if anyone knows enough about them to judge them its us. I pretty sure 99% of us will pick Nugent over Beckford

I haven't given an opinion on Beckford, I could give a flying **** about him. My comment was a piss-take over a comment on here yesterday. It obviously went over your head.
I wasn't given personal assurances about anything, it's what he told the players, he's not to be trusted, he's a shabby twat. As for Proschwitz, you're now on the humble pie list, ready for when the actual fee is revealed.
