Tbh this really worries me. Given some of the appalling tackles we've seen in the Premier League over the last few seasons, which are criminal assault in my mind, with play makers targeted by thugs like Nigel de Jong, (I'm thinking of his assault on Ben Arfa), I wince every time Hudd receives a short pass in a crowded midfield. It's only going to take one spiteful lunge by a petulant, resentful, overpaid Premiership moron, who has just been shown up as the journeyman midfield trundler they actually are and it's 6 months out of the game for someone who lights up the cynical world of football.

Credit to Fulham yesterday who even when 6-0 down didn't just try to hack their way out of it, unlike some of the so called top six.

All these plaudits are absolutely deserved for Hudd, yesterday was as good as I've ever seen from a City player. I'd just like to say that the signing of Livermore was equally as important and that he does a huge amount of work to allow Hudd to do his thing. Have it on very good authority that both players absolutely love it here and all the players are a very very tightly knit group, no superstars or prima donnas.

    These are golden times.

No. Not one person said that. Well I say that, Mr Hat said he was our biggest underperformer but that's bollocks even before yesterday.

The majority of people put Hudd as our best signing, neck and neck with Davies. Other than Hat, noone was even slightly negative about Hudd.

Yes, I did just go and read that entire thread to check this because it seemed bizarre to suggest such a thing.

I'm sure I do unless it was a drunken haze. I'll check back...

    Edit -

    It was Mr Hat though....

So one person DID say it then. I didn't say if it was 'bollocks' or not, I said someone said it. Which they did.

    Thanks.

spot on. <ok> A very clever move from Bruce, who'd clearly seen something during his time at spurs with Redknapp.

Oh we're going to be pedantic are we? Well in that case, you said "some people", when in fact Hattie just said he though Hudd was our biggest underperformer. He didn't describe him as a huge disappointment or a huge let down.

1 person, not people, in a thread of 3 pages.

    You're welcome.

If he was, then I don't know that he was.

I don't know Mr Hat, some people think he's just a WUM and he might be but his other nominations in his list seemed genuine. Why would he take the piss on one of them? Perhaps he was but only he knows that. Of course saying he was taking the piss is now an easy get out so he doesn't look clueless.

People also think I'm a WUM but I believe every word I post on here. Well, most of them :D

You can check their username history on their profile. I can't keep up with everyones name change, they change it almost as much as City!

I think I'll now stick with mine (and just play around with avatar and signature to freshen things up...).

I'm pretty sure, judging by his avatar and signature at the time, that this was more of a reference to the Karl Pilkington created superhero who - rather than talked Bullshit - was able to detect when someone else was talking it
