HU11 CTY was never put up for sale it was always earmarked for auction, and today was the first chance to buy it - HU11 CFC is up for sale at £1595 at the moment - i was at todays auction and the guys on the phone tried to blow the guy at the auction out of the water - eg the telehone bidder would bid £25000 - the guy at the auction would bid £25100 - the telephone guy would then bid £26,000 and so on - the guy on the phone gave up in the end - i suspect the guy will think what the **** have i done in the cold light of day
Totally agree, I tried earlier this year and although you could highlight it you could not purchase it.
Especially when he bid £36,000 and won the item, only to be told that there were additional fees of £10,736 to pay on top.
**** me. My dad has T44 GRS (which, allegedly, is 'Tigers' in a Hull accent), I wonder what that's worth
£14.72 plus vat. Actually it's worth as much as someone is willing to pay for it. Now would be a good time to sell it.IMO
And there's me thinking OLM already had the Renault Clio registered down my street which is "YY08 OLM".
In Florida you can have a personalised number plate with seven characters for $15. Most city / tigers ones have been taken. HULCITY is still available. I think it should be on my car. In fact it will be very soon.
In fact each State in the USA issues plates so there could be 50 HULL CTYs. I know there is one in California as well as Florida. I don't have that but mine is EBYGUM.
i believe in the usa u can nmae your own plate. i heard of a ny farmer called macdonald who had... E I E I O
Slightly off topic (which is usual for me) anyone know what happend to the train nameplate that used to be over the players entrance tunnel at B.P.?
