Varying degrees of intellect throughout the various Corps, the infantry have a reputation of not being that smart however The Royal Engineers, REME, Intelligence Corps and so on are usually quite intelligent individuals. You probably would have ended up as an infantryman - if you had what was needed to actually gain entry. IF
Look, I don't want to put you down or put down all people who join the army. We know it's a career option for those less than blessed with intelligence, we also know that some people want to join up from an early age regardless of their potential and there is the "officer-class" option as taken by our wonderful princes William and Harry. I'm not sure what would be needed to be taught how to shoot a gun and be sent in as cannon fodder. I did very well in my O levels, ok in my A levels, went to KCL to do Maths and eventually got kicked out in the second year because I never turned up for any lectures/failed my exams. Perhaps I could have got a job tallying up the scores on the rifle range?
I don't follow. So I dropped out of college makes me ignorant and stupid? What does never going to college make you?
