Just been fined £15,000 for homophobic Tweeting. Don't know why we haven't sent him back to Man Utd before now. Can we have Rooney instead please?
Apart from not featuring in the first team squad and getting fined for homophobic tweets, how is he doing?
Difficult to see him making it at United. Appears to have made backwards progress since his debut. He needs regular games, even if it's at Championship level, send him on loan somewhere where he actually might play a bit. It's his failure to deliver for several years that worries me, not tweeting out of his arse. Most players don't tweet anything other than rubbish anyway. Go back a month and no one would have batted an eyelid about a bloke calling someone gay over the internet, then the FA launch some pretty ridiculous campaign of charging people for things that have nothing to do with football, and suddenly the whole internet is acting all wholier-than-thou? Give me a break.
spends all his time on twitter, from what i heard thought he was to good to play for rangers, acted like a spoilt brat, to much to young, it went downhill after he scored for man u. against the villa
another young player that might just regret in years to come, failing to putting in the effort and application to do a job, a very well paid job that a lot of us on here would have loved to have the opportunity to do.
Not really becuase he scored the winner in the game after that too. It did go down hill after then though.
Dave - sorry, just suming up what he has done at QPR. He might just need a bit of SAF's hairdrier or boot up his jacksie, but he has been a disappointment in West London so far
